As the Account Executive (AE), Majors, you are a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing new business while growing existing customers in an assigned geographic territory. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise and Majors, this individual contributor role demands exceeding quarterly and annual quotas through proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption of DocuSign's e-signature, CLM, and intelligent agreement solutions. You'll collaborate with internal teams and the DocuSign partner ecosystem, thriving in ambiguity, adapting quickly, and positioning our platform as the key to clients' business transformation in a hybrid work model (minimum 2 days per week in-office). Success requires building pipelines via new logos and expansions, delivering tailored demos, negotiating enterprise contracts, and upselling innovative products. You'll link DocuSign's value to clients' core issues, optimize their processes, and engage pre/post-sales resources like Solutions Engineers and Professional Services. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company success by achieving and exceeding individual quarterly and annual sales quotas in an assigned geographic territory
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through new logo acquisition and expansion of usage with existing clients
  • Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone, online demos, and in-person meetings
  • Create, negotiate, and close enterprise-level proposals and contracts
  • Provide accurate sales activity and revenue forecasts using Salesforce and other sales tools
  • Position DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, e-signature, and CLM solutions as core to clients' business outcomes
  • Expand DocuSign adoption beyond initial implementation by upselling products, services, and partner solutions
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and drive customer adoption in collaboration with internal teams
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support
  • Manage deals proactively, ensure forecast accuracy, and adapt quickly to market ambiguities

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience in a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and quotas
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience with sales force automation tools, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent client relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
