As an Account Executive, Majors NewCo, you are a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing new business or expanding our footprint in assigned geographic territories. Focused on acquiring new customers and selling additional use cases in e-signature, CLM, and intelligent agreement management, you'll exceed monthly and quarterly quotas through proactive deal management, accurate forecasting, and driving adoption in collaboration with internal teams and the Docusign partner ecosystem. This individual contributor role reports to the Regional Vice President, Majors, in a dynamic remote environment embracing ambiguity and rapid innovation. You'll build pipelines through targeted prospecting, deliver compelling customized demos highlighting DocuSign's transformative solutions, negotiate enterprise contracts, and partner with SDRs, Solutions Engineers, and more to deliver value. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company success by consistently achieving and exceeding individual monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting in assigned geographic territory or core verticals
  • Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone, online demos, and in-person meetings
  • Create, negotiate, and close enterprise-level proposals and contracts for new business and expansions
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and revenue predictions using CRM and sales tools
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and post-sales teams including SDRs, MDRs, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support
  • Acquire new customers and expand footprint in existing accounts by selling additional use cases, products, and services in intelligent agreement management and e-signature
  • Proactively manage deals, ensure forecast accuracy, and drive customer adoption and usage in partnership with the Docusign ecosystem
  • Adapt quickly to market changes, embracing ambiguity to innovate and deliver value in DocuSign's agreement solutions
  • Leverage DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform to demonstrate business impact in accelerating agreements and unlocking trapped data

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of prior sales experience in software or SaaS environments
  • Proven track record of prospecting, lead development, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals in small-to-medium or mid-market accounts
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Google Suite
  • Demonstrated business acumen with experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships, anticipating market changes, and adjusting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with a strong willingness to learn and ramp quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role within software/SaaS
