The Account Executive, Mid-Market - DACH (German Speaking) is a high-impact individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial. This position blends relationship management and revenue expansion, focusing on existing DocuSign clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You'll thrive handling a large portfolio of accounts, uncovering new use cases for our e-signature, CLM, and broader Agreement Cloud solutions. In our hybrid model (minimum 2 days/week in office), you'll deliver programmatic engagement to grow incremental revenue, qualify opportunities per our sales methodology, and position DocuSign as the strategic partner for digital agreement transformation. Key to success is expanding beyond initial implementations by upselling innovative products and services, processing orders, facilitating onboarding, and advocating for clients internally. You'll maintain deep product knowledge, provide accurate forecasts, and enlist customers for events to amplify success stories. We're seeking a consultative sales professional with SaaS experience, fluent in English and German, who excels independently and in teams to drive loyalty and business growth in the DACH mid-market. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programmatic engagement with existing DocuSign clients in the DACH region to develop relationships and drive incremental revenue through new use cases in the Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Qualify sales opportunities using DocuSign’s sales methodology, focusing on client fit, success criteria, and e-signature/CLM expansion potential
  • Position DocuSign's value proposition by linking e-signature, CLM, and agreement management benefits to clients' key business challenges
  • Expand DocuSign solutions beyond initial implementation by upselling products, services, and partner solutions to uncover additional opportunities
  • Process sales orders, facilitate seamless customer onboarding, and coordinate with professional services, training, product management, and marketing teams
  • Enlist customers to participate or speak at DocuSign and partner events to showcase success stories
  • Provide accurate, timely sales reports, forecasts, and account updates to management
  • Maintain sophisticated knowledge of DocuSign’s e-signature, CLM, and Intelligent Agreement Management offerings
  • Keep CRM database current with account information, leads, and follow-ups
  • Serve as the primary advocate and escalation point to manage customer loyalty and satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • Basic fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
  • 2+ years of experience in consultative sales and account management, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Proven experience using Salesforce.com and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Ability to handle a large volume of concurrent client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
