The Account Executive, Mid-Market, is a high-impact hunter role responsible for driving new logo acquisition and upsell opportunities from existing Book of Business (BoB) across all industry verticals. You will create territory plans, manage active pipelines, and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas through precise deal management, forecast accuracy, and collaboration with internal teams and the DocuSign partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Mid-Market, this individual contributor position demands adaptability, motivation, and the ability to evangelize disruptive products like our Intelligent Agreement Management platform while leveraging pre- and post-sales resources. Key responsibilities include delivering programmatic client engagements to uncover use cases, qualifying opportunities via DocuSign’s methodology, positioning our e-signature and CLM solutions against client challenges, and expanding beyond initial implementations through upselling products and partner solutions. You will process orders, facilitate onboarding, manage resource engagements, maintain CRM accuracy, and champion customer loyalty as their internal advocate. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in-office, with travel as needed, embodying our commitment to trust, equality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition and develop upsell opportunities from existing Book of Business (BoB) across all industry verticals
  • Create and execute territory plans to prioritize prospects and customers while managing an active pipeline
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly quotas through dedicated deal management, forecast accuracy, and collaboration with internal teams and DocuSign's partner ecosystem
  • Deliver programmatic engagement with clients to uncover additional use cases and position the broader DocuSign Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Qualify sales opportunities using DocuSign’s sales methodology, focusing on client fit and success criteria
  • Position DocuSign's e-signature and CLM value proposition as core to client business solutions
  • Expand solutions by upselling new DocuSign products, services, and partner integrations beyond initial implementations
  • Process sales orders, facilitate customer onboarding, and manage engagements with professional services, training, and marketing resources
  • Enlist customers for DocuSign and partner events while maintaining CRM accuracy for accounts, leads, and follow-ups
  • Serve as internal advocate and escalation point to ensure customer loyalty and drive adoption/usage

Required Qualifications

  • Basic fluency in English
  • 2+ years of experience in consultative sales and account management, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent client relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
  • Proven adaptability to anticipate change and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
