As an Account Executive, Mid-Market - German Speaking, you’ll thrive in a high-impact role blending relationship management and revenue expansion within a dynamic, fast-paced SaaS environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial, this individual contributor position focuses on driving growth in assigned mid-market accounts. You’ll deliver programmatic engagement to existing DocuSign clients, uncovering new use cases for our e-signature and broader Agreement Cloud solutions while qualifying opportunities based on our proven sales methodology. Excel at positioning DocuSign’s value proposition to solve key client business challenges, expanding beyond initial implementations through strategic upselling of products, services, and partners. Key to success is your ability to handle a large volume of accounts, process orders, facilitate onboarding, and serve as the internal advocate for customer loyalty. Maintain meticulous CRM records in Salesforce, provide accurate forecasts, and enlist clients for DocuSign events. With basic fluency in English and German, 2+ years in consultative SaaS sales, and a passion for innovation, you’ll contribute to our mission in a hybrid model (minimum 2 days/week in-office). Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programmatic engagement with existing DocuSign clients to develop relationships and uncover additional use cases for the DocuSign Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Qualify sales opportunities using DocuSign’s sales methodology, focusing on client fit, success criteria, and expansion potential
  • Position DocuSign's e-signature and CLM value proposition as a core business solution, linking benefits to client key issues
  • Expand DocuSign solutions beyond initial implementation by upselling products, services, and partner solutions
  • Process sales orders, facilitate customer onboarding, and coordinate with professional services, training, and product teams
  • Enlist customers to participate in DocuSign and partner events as advocates and speakers
  • Provide accurate, timely sales reports, forecasts, and account updates in Salesforce CRM
  • Maintain sophisticated knowledge of DocuSign’s full product suite including e-signature and agreement cloud capabilities
  • Serve as internal advocate and escalation point to manage customer loyalty and resolve issues proactively
  • Drive incremental revenue growth by identifying opportunities within mid-market accounts

Required Qualifications

  • Basic fluency in English and German required for effective client communication
  • 2+ years of experience in consultative sales and account management, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Proven experience using Salesforce.com and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent client relationships
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to support client engagements
