As the Account Executive, SMB, Spain, you will drive revenue growth by selling innovative e-signature, CLM, and agreement management solutions to small and medium businesses across all industry verticals. This individual contributor role reports to the Manager, SMB Sales, and focuses on both expanding existing accounts and nurturing prospective SMB customers in the Spanish market. You will exceed monthly and quarterly quotas through dedicated deal management, forecast accuracy, and collaboration with internal teams and the DocuSign partner ecosystem. Evangelize exciting new products by delivering programmatic client engagements, qualifying opportunities per DocuSign’s methodology, and positioning our value proposition against key business issues. Expand beyond initial implementations by upselling advanced features, processing orders, facilitating onboarding, and driving adoption. Manage customer loyalty as their internal advocate, enlisting them for events, and maintaining meticulous CRM records in Salesforce. The ideal candidate thrives in DocuSign’s innovative culture, exhibiting strong cross-functional collaboration, consultative sales expertise in SaaS, and a passion for transforming how businesses manage agreements. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive programmatic engagement with existing DocuSign clients in Spain to uncover additional use cases and grow incremental revenue through the DocuSign Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Qualify sales opportunities using DocuSign’s sales methodology, focusing on SMB client fit, success criteria, and e-signature adoption potential
  • Position DocuSign's value proposition by linking e-signature, CLM, and agreement management benefits to key business challenges
  • Expand DocuSign solutions beyond initial implementations by upselling new products, services, and partner ecosystem offerings
  • Process sales orders, facilitate seamless customer onboarding, and drive adoption and usage among SMB customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams (professional services, training, product management, marketing) to address customer needs
  • Enlist customers to participate in DocuSign and partner events as advocates and success stories
  • Provide accurate, timely sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline management to exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Maintain sophisticated knowledge of DocuSign’s e-signature, CLM, and intelligent agreement management innovations
  • Manage CRM database with current account information, leads, and follow-ups for assigned Spanish SMB accounts
  • Serve as internal advocate and escalation point to ensure customer loyalty and long-term success

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven experience in an Account Executive role or equivalent quota-carrying sales position
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience selling to small and medium businesses (SMB) across various industry verticals
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and client success criteria
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com
  • Ability to manage full sales cycle from opportunity qualification to deal closure
  • Commitment to hybrid work model with minimum 2 days per week in-office
