We are seeking a motivated Agentic AI Engineer with a strong foundation in data engineering and AI orchestration to join our IT Infrastructure & Operations team. In this hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Data & Analytics, you will design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents using cutting-edge frameworks like CrewAI and LangChain, powering innovations in e-signature and agreement automation. You will build and manage essential data pipelines with dbt, Snowflake, AWS, and Airflow to fuel AI systems that extract insights from agreements, enabling smarter decision-making and streamlined workflows. Leverage your Python expertise to refine agentic algorithms, implement cloud infrastructure with AWS services like SageMaker, and collaborate with product managers, research scientists, and engineers to deliver production-ready features. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of autonomous agents and multi-agent systems using frameworks like CrewAI and LangChain to power DocuSign's intelligent agreement management
  • Develop, test, and maintain data transformations and models using dbt to provide clean, reliable datasets for agent training and decision-making in e-signature workflows
  • Build and maintain robust, scalable data and ML pipelines using Airflow to manage workflows and ensure timely data delivery for AI-driven features
  • Work within our analytical data infrastructure in Snowflake, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of data solutions that support AI workloads for contract lifecycle management
  • Implement and support the cloud infrastructure on AWS required for agentic AI systems, utilizing services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and SageMaker
  • Write high-quality, efficient Python code to implement and refine algorithms for agentic systems that accelerate agreement processes
  • Work closely with product managers, research scientists, and other engineers to translate requirements into production-ready AI features for DocuSign's platform
  • Optimize AI agents to extract and utilize business-critical data from agreements, enhancing e-signature and CLM capabilities
  • Collaborate on innovation initiatives to integrate agentic AI into DocuSign's ecosystem, driving efficiency and user experience improvements
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and AI systems to ensure high availability and performance in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a software or data engineering role
  • Experience with Python and familiarity with its common AI/ML and data manipulation libraries
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow
  • Experience working with the modern data stack, including tools like Snowflake and dbt
  • Experience building or working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Strong foundation in data engineering practices for scalable AI systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building applications or agents using LangChain, CrewAI, or similar agentic frameworks
  • Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma) and their application in AI systems
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Demonstrable experience in prompt engineering and designing effective prompt strategies for LLMs
  • A portfolio of personal or professional projects that showcase skills in AI or data engineering
  • An interest in and understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)
