Reporting to the Vice President, Experiential Events, you will manage a high-performing team of event professionals and agency partners while collaborating cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership. Key responsibilities include crafting a global event strategy aligned to DocuSign’s go-to-market priorities, overseeing marquee programs like Momentum NYC flagship and cascades, optimizing for pipeline influence, and partnering with Analytics for data-driven insights on metrics like account engagement and cost efficiency. You’ll champion innovation in event formats that showcase DocuSign’s agreement management leadership, ensure flawless execution balancing creativity with operational rigor, and scale processes to support our global growth. We seek a passionate leader with 12+ years in B2B event marketing, proven success leading global events with business impact, and expertise managing teams, budgets, and stakeholders. Experience in SaaS or enterprise software, data-driven strategy, and a fervor for experiences connecting people to DocuSign’s transformative technology is ideal. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global first-party event strategy aligning with DocuSign’s intelligent agreement management platform, brand positioning, go-to-market priorities, and pipeline goals
  • Partner with VP, Experiential Events to shape long-term event model including Momentum flagship strategy, global cascades, tiering, and annual calendar planning
  • Serve as strategic thought partner to Marketing, Sales, Executive Leadership on demonstrating events' business impact through e-signature and CLM innovation storytelling
  • Oversee planning and execution of major programs like Momentum (NYC flagship and global), Discover developer event, and key brand experiences ensuring on-time, on-brand, on-budget delivery
  • Lead agency and vendor relationships including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and performance optimization
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Comms, and Brand teams for cohesive messaging around DocuSign's agreement solutions
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to define, track, and report success metrics such as pipeline impact, account engagement, attendee NPS, and cost per attendee
  • Optimize event formats, content, spend, and innovation based on performance data and market insights
  • Implement scalable processes, templates, and frameworks to enhance team efficiency and support DocuSign's growth
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of event professionals fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, innovation, and DocuSign's values
  • Partner with Finance & Operations to forecast budgets, manage resourcing, and ensure financial discipline

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in event marketing or experiential marketing, preferably in B2B technology
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, global events with measurable business impact including pipeline generation and revenue attribution
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-performing teams, external agencies, and complex multi-million-dollar budgets
  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and executive stakeholder management across Marketing, Sales, and Product organizations
  • Experience developing data-driven event strategies that align with go-to-market priorities and brand objectives
  • Expertise in overseeing end-to-end event execution from strategy through post-event ROI analysis
  • Ability to balance creative innovation with operational excellence and financial discipline
