In this hybrid people manager role reporting to the Sr. Manager of Engineering, you'll guide a full-stack engineering team to develop and maintain scalable services within DocuSign and Intelligent Agreement Management. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging features, craft product roadmaps aligned with company goals, and ensure best practices in high-availability (99.99+) systems. As technical leader and delivery manager, you'll hire exceptional talent, mentor engineers, and foster an innovation culture that leaves every process better—using agile practices, telemetry-driven insights, and collaboration with Product Management. We're seeking a seasoned leader with 8+ years in software development and management, including hands-on full-stack experience and leading teams of 6+. Thrive in our dynamic environment by architecting performant services, optimizing complex data ecosystems, and launching V1 products in a language-agnostic way. Experience with JavaScript frameworks, Microsoft stack, cloud platforms, and advanced web apps is ideal. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of full-stack engineers developing collaboration tools for DocuSign and Intelligent Agreement Management products
• Deliver on product roadmap using agile practices while ensuring high scalability, performance, and availability
• Coordinate with partner engineering teams to build solutions serving multiple internal and customer needs
• Collaborate with Product Management to gather requirements, architect services, and align with company goals
• Improve performance, reliability, and data quality of existing services through telemetry-driven decisions
• Serve as people manager, technical leader, and delivery manager, hiring top talent and enforcing best practices
• Mentor and grow engineering team members, fostering innovation in e-signature and agreement management
• Work cross-organizationally to engage stakeholders, complete projects, and drive successful feature launches
• Champion high-scale systems design for DocuSign's global platform supporting 1.5M+ customers
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, leaving every team and process better than found

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined software development and management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of hands-on software development or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of managing software organizations with over 6 people or equivalent experience
• Experience managing full-stack engineering teams
• Proven ability to hire and develop high-performing engineers
• Strong understanding of agile practices and delivering products on roadmap
• Experience collaborating with product management and cross-functional stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in leading teams to build scalable, high-availability services

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record leading geographically dispersed teams
• Experience with cloud platforms and high-scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
• Expertise in full-stack SaaS development and launching V1 products
• Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server) and modern JavaScript frameworks
• History as a change agent improving teams, processes, and data ecosystems
• Proven talent developer with experience mentoring engineers in advanced web applications and TDD
