As a key member of the Product & Technology (P&T) Finance team, you will own the financial planning, analysis, and optimization of our infrastructure footprint across Azure, GCP, and colocation environments. This individual contributor role reports to the Director, Tech FP&A and partners closely with Engineering to forecast spend, drive efficiency initiatives, and align infrastructure investments with DocuSign's rapid business growth. You will deliver monthly dashboards and presentations to senior leadership, lead cloud cost forecasting, model investment scenarios (e.g., regional expansions, new workloads), and develop KPI frameworks using billing portals for real-time insights into cost drivers and utilization trends. By consolidating multi-region spend and supporting cloud partner negotiations, you will shape our cloud financial strategy to power the scalability of our e-signature and CLM platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Own financial planning, analysis, and optimization of DocuSign's infrastructure footprint across Azure, GCP, and colocation environments
  • Deliver monthly dashboards and presentations to senior leadership on infrastructure spend, efficiency initiatives, and strategic investment trade-offs
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual cloud cost forecasting, aligning with financial targets, product roadmaps, and DocuSign's intelligent agreement management growth
  • Partner closely with Engineering to model infrastructure investment scenarios (e.g., regional expansion, new workloads, vendor migrations) and quantify ROI impacts
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks using usage and billing portals for real-time visibility into cost drivers, utilization, and efficiency trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial deal models with strategic cloud partners and support contract negotiations for cloud agreements and renewals
  • Consolidate and analyze multi-region cloud and on-prem spend across vendors to identify optimization opportunities
  • Drive cost efficiency initiatives that support DocuSign's e-signature platform scalability and innovation
  • Ensure alignment between infrastructure investments and business growth in DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Provide financial insights to shape cloud strategy, enabling data-driven decisions for leadership

Required Qualifications

  • BA or BS in business, finance, economics, or accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) or Corporate Finance, ideally in a cloud-native company
  • Proven experience translating technical metrics into actionable financial insights
  • Hands-on experience analyzing large-scale cloud spend including AWS, Azure, or GCP billing data, commitment planning, and region modeling
  • Demonstrated record of partnering with Engineering teams to drive cloud cost optimization and infrastructure investment decisions
  • Deep knowledge of cloud pricing models such as on-demand, reserved instances, and savings plans
  • Strong experience with cloud financial modeling using Google Sheets or Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance
  • Experience with financial and ERP systems such as Oracle or Adaptive Planning
  • Familiarity with BI visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience working across multiple hyperscalers and forecasting AI variable cloud costs
