Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate business processes and simplify lives through intelligent agreement management. As the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM), Docusign unleashes business-critical data trapped in documents, connecting it to systems of record to save time, money, and opportunity. As the Lead AI Agentic Engineer on the End User Engineering team, you will define and drive the technical vision for next-generation autonomous IT operations at DocuSign. Architect, scale, and operationalize agentic AI solutions that proactively resolve issues, eliminate operational burden, and strengthen enterprise security—directly supporting our e-signature and CLM platforms. Own the technical roadmap as the primary SME, collaborating across IT, security, and business teams to deliver secure, compliant, scalable AI-driven workflows and agents. This individual contributor role reports to the Sr. Director, End User Engineering, in a hybrid model requiring minimum 2 days per week in-office. You will lead the development of a scalable agentic AI platform using frameworks like Crew AI or Vertex AI for autonomous end-user issue remediation, define integration patterns with DocuSign's SaaS ecosystem for self-healing capabilities, and enforce security-first standards. Establish observability frameworks, mentor engineers, and evangelize AI to drive adoption, ensuring our IT operations align with DocuSign's mission of innovation and reliability. Leverage your expertise to transform employee experiences while safeguarding the infrastructure powering billions of agreements. Docusign is committed to building trust and equality, offering competitive pay (e.g., California: $157,500-$254,350 base; other locations vary), RSUs, comprehensive benefits, and a culture where your contributions create lasting impact.
