Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, deploy, and maintain DocuSign’s current and next-generation core services and APIs for intelligent agreement management
• Lead development of highly scalable, reliable, and available (5 nines) backend systems covering document sending, e-signing, and contract lifecycle workflows
• Deliver complex foundational layers of design and code for API integrations with third-party systems and large-scale data platforms
• Guide and mentor engineers across all facets of engineering, product building, and innovation in e-signature technologies
• Drive solutions for scale, availability, and reliability in a dynamic 24x7x52 critical service environment
• Collaborate proactively with product management, QA, design, business, and cross-functional teams as a thought leader
• Spearhead integration platforms that accelerate DocuSign’s agreement processes for over 1.5 million customers worldwide
• Champion best practices in Agile/Scrum to build award-winning SaaS offerings
• Innovate on contract lifecycle intelligence and workflow automation features
• Ensure seamless e-signature and agreement management capabilities in multi-tenant cloud architectures

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
• 12+ years of software product development experience in Cloud, SaaS, or Enterprise environments
• 5+ years building large-scale enterprise J2EE or C# applications
• Hands-on professional experience developing RESTful web services
• Proficiency with Microsoft technology stack including .NET, C#, and SQL Server
• Experience with front-end technologies such as CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and MVC frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in SaaS or Cloud platforms
• Background in e-signature, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or intelligent agreement management systems
• Experience architecting high-availability (5 nines) services in 24x7 critical environments
• Proven track record mentoring engineering teams and leading cross-functional initiatives
• Familiarity with data platforms at scale and third-party system integrations
