We're seeking a hands-on Manager, SDET to lead our Quality Engineering practice across enterprise SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Oracle ERP, MuleSoft integrations, and UIPath workflow automation. Reporting to the Director of IT Application Productivity Engineering, you'll drive an AI-first quality strategy, architect scalable automation frameworks, and manage a diverse, globally distributed SDET team to ensure performance, reliability, and consistency across the end-to-end digital customer journey—from lead-to-cash to renewals and support. In this people manager role, you'll own test strategies for UI, API, integration, performance, and regression testing, integrating seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to boost release velocity and system resilience. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Business Operations, you'll enforce shift-left quality, lead release governance, and champion continuous improvements in key metrics like defect leakage and cycle time. Your technical depth in automation tools like Playwright, RestAssured, Python, and AI/ML accelerators will empower proactive defect prevention, while your leadership fosters psychological safety, skill development, and alignment with business priorities in our innovative, trust-based culture. Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end test strategy across Salesforce, Oracle ERP, MuleSoft integrations, and UIPath automation workflows
• Implement AI-assisted test scenario generation, root cause analysis, and intelligent defect detection to drive an AI-first quality strategy
• Architect and scale test automation frameworks for UI, API, data validation, integration, system, performance, and regression testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases supporting DocuSign's intelligent agreement management platform
• Direct end-to-end customer journey quality strategy, validating lead-to-cash, customer support, revenue operations, renewals, fulfillment, and operational workflows
• Own the digital end-to-end workflow lifecycle, including business process automation, orchestration logic, and cross-system data governance
• Ensure consistency and reliability across connected platforms supporting e-signature, CLM, and customer/internal user experiences
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams early in design to enforce shift-left quality and proactive defect prevention
• Lead release readiness governance, including defect triage, risk assessments, and go/no-go alignment
• Drive continuous improvements in test effectiveness, defect leakage, environment stability, and cycle time KPIs
• Manage a diverse, globally distributed SDET team, fostering innovation and alignment with DocuSign's culture of trust and excellence

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing SDET or Software Engineering teams
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce, MuleSoft API integrations, and Oracle ERP business flows
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright, RestAssured/Postman, Python, and UIPath
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Advanced Actions
• Familiarity with observability, telemetry, test data management, and environment provisioning
• Exposure to AI/ML-based testing accelerators and generative quality tooling
• Strong technical depth in UI, API, integration, performance, and regression testing frameworks

• Proven track record in driving hiring, coaching, skill development, performance evaluations, and career growth planning
• Experience aligning resourcing, vendor/offshore capacity models, and team structure to business priorities and delivery timelines
• Background in enterprise SaaS platforms and e-signature or contract lifecycle management (CLM) environments
• Demonstrated success in shift-left quality practices and release readiness governance
