As Manager, SMB - French Market, you will lead a dynamic team of Account Executives selling DocuSign's e-signature and CLM solutions to small and medium businesses across France. Reporting to the Area Vice President, Commercial, France, this people manager role focuses on identifying new customers, driving creative adoption of our diverse solution suite, and building a fast-growing sales engine. You'll coach your team to overachieve quotas, implement renewal strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to align on go-to-market priorities, all while embodying DocuSign's commitment to innovation and customer success in a hybrid work model (minimum 2 days/week in-office). Key to success is your ability to hire culturally aligned talent, foster skill development in prospecting, forecasting, and negotiations tailored to French SMB verticals, and contribute to high-impact deal closures. You'll leverage Salesforce.com for precise reporting, communicate field insights to shape product roadmaps, and ensure seamless use of sales tools. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a high-performing French Account Executive (AE) SMB sales team focused on DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Develop and implement upgrade, renewal processes, and strategies while ensuring compliance with Salesforce.com and internal reporting standards
  • Assess sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline to identify progress and drive required improvements toward quota attainment
  • Coach AEs on key skills including vertical market management, forecasting, account-based prospecting, negotiations, and e-signature solution selling
  • Hire culturally aligned team members, lead by example, and foster DocuSign's values of passion, customer focus, and execution excellence
  • Contribute to complex negotiations and deal closures, leveraging Senior Sales Executives to accelerate French SMB wins
  • Collaborate with each AE to create and execute vertical-specific business plans aligned with DocuSign's go-to-market strategy
  • Ensure consistent use of sales tools, systems, and Rules of Engagement across the team
  • Communicate field insights on product needs and business priorities to corporate departments to influence roadmap and innovation
  • Identify and support training opportunities for team professional development in intelligent agreement management and e-signature best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related experience in sales leadership
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • BA or BS degree in a business or technical related field
  • Software sales experience as both individual contributor and manager
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing software sales teams
  • Strong forecasting and reporting capabilities with tools like Salesforce.com
  • Experience in SaaS-based document workflow or e-signature solutions

  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals in SMB sales
  • SaaS based document workflow application experience, ideally e-signature or CLM
