As a Market Development Representative (MDR) for the DACH market in our Global Sales Development team, you will generate qualified opportunities that fuel the sales funnel and drive new revenue to expand our EMEA presence. This individual contributor role reports to the Market Development Manager and focuses on the dynamic DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You'll thrive in a hybrid environment, dividing time between in-office collaboration (minimum 2 days per week) and remote work, leveraging DocuSign's innovative culture to pioneer e-signature adoption. Your days will be filled with strategic outbound prospecting—mastering cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn campaigns to educate prospects on how DocuSign's solutions transform agreement processes. You'll identify high-potential leads, uncover business needs, schedule impactful meetings with Account Executives, and meticulously track everything in Salesforce, all while building DocuSign's brand in DACH. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities and pipeline within the defined DACH territory
  • Manage and plan territory strategy with a focus on multi-channel outbound prospecting
  • Spend majority of time on outbound activities including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to educate prospects on DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform
  • Drive brand and product awareness for DocuSign's e-signature and CLM solutions in the DACH market through regular campaigns
  • Gain insights into potential customers' business needs and qualify opportunities for progression through the sales funnel
  • Schedule high-impact appointments and demos with Account Executives for qualified prospects
  • Accurately record all prospect information, interactions, and activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Present a balanced approach combining cold calling, relationship development, consultative sales processes, and appointment setting
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support revenue growth and expand DocuSign's presence in EMEA
  • Monitor sales funnel metrics and continuously optimize outbound strategies for efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in sales or business development
  • Fluency in German and English (both written and verbal)
  • Experience with sales cycles and solution-selling tactics
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Demonstrated ability to manage CRM data entry and prospect tracking
  • Understanding of outbound prospecting in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Track record of success in outbound sales or business development roles
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Confident and courteous verbal and written communication skills
