As a Principal Solution Consultant (German and English speaking) within the EMEA Solutions team, you will be the key technical link between our cutting-edge IAM platform and transformative customer impact. Embedded with go-to-market teams, you will work hands-on with critical customers across the DACH region and EMEA, translating their goals into operational, AI-assisted agreement workflows. This individual contributor role reports to the Manager, Solution Consulting (SC Strategic Team), where you will advise high-potential accounts, lead technical designs, deliver custom demos, and shape product evolution through field insights. In this hybrid role (minimum 2 days per week in-office), you will inspire leaders with visionary storytelling, map complex tech landscapes to DocuSign solutions, and build lasting relationships with senior decision-makers. Leverage your expertise in AI integrations, APIs, and enterprise projects to prototype high-ROI solutions, respond to RFPs, and provide best practices. With up to 50% travel, you will drive DocuSign’s innovation culture, fostering trust and equality while contributing to a world made more agreeable. Key Responsibilities

  • Advise high-potential customers in the DACH region and EMEA by initiating projects and designing/prototyping solutions that integrate DocuSign’s Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform with enterprise technology stacks
  • Act as the technical lead for selected key accounts, delivering trusted, long-term, high-ROI solutions and building relationships with senior technical decision-makers
  • Inspire customer leaders early in the sales cycle through compelling storytelling about agreement-related challenges and AI-powered opportunities
  • Understand complex customer business problems, map their technology landscape to DocuSign IAM solutions, and visualize current/future state information topology
  • Establish confidence in recommendations via product expertise, custom demonstrations, technical calls, workflow outlines, RFP/RFI responses, product roadmap discussions, and business process diagrams
  • Develop value-driven narratives and articulate recommended solutions for e-signature and CLM workflows
  • Collaborate closely with account teams (pods) to translate customer requirements into technical designs, manage execution, and share field-tested insights with DocuSign product teams to evolve the IAM platform
  • Serve as the go-to expert for DocuSign IAM platform features, including current and future AI-assisted capabilities
  • Leverage insights from production deployments to provide best practice guidance to team members
  • Effectively manage key stakeholders internally and on the customer side to drive successful outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Consulting, or technology project management within key industries (Financial Services, Manufacturing, Life Sciences), including significant time in customer-facing roles
  • Proven experience with large enterprise procurement and technology implementation projects
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, prioritizing user value and driving iterative delivery
  • Strong track record of structuring complex and ambiguous problems into actionable solution approaches
  • Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken)
  • BS/BA degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements across DACH region and EMEA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering software demonstrations both in person and virtually
  • Hands-on expertise in delivering technical projects with AI tools, APIs, and front/backend applications
  • Direct experience in Financial Services, Manufacturing, or Life Sciences industries
  • Experience integrating AI into SaaS platforms (DocuSign, Microsoft, SAP, Google, ServiceNow, or Salesforce) or deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments
