As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Global Sales Development, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients interested in DocuSign's transformative solutions. Spending roughly 80% of your time on the phone, you will make outbound calls to prospects in our core vertical markets, qualify leads through strategic questioning about their business strategies, and align DocuSign's e-signature, CLM, and intelligent agreement management offerings to their needs. You will discern buying propensity, schedule meetings with Account Executives, and meticulously record data in our CRM, fueling our rapid-growth SaaS engine. This individual contributor role reports to the Manager, Sales Development Representatives, and offers hands-on training in strategic selling and account research. This hybrid position requires a minimum of 2 days per week in-office, blending collaboration with flexible remote work. Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more about DocuSign
  • Prospect potential clients in DocuSign’s core vertical markets
  • Share information about DocuSign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, e-signature, and CLM solutions
  • Ask targeted questions about prospects' business intentions and strategies
  • Qualify leads by discerning propensity to buy and aligning with DocuSign product offerings
  • Forward qualified leads to Sales Account Executives for further pursuit
  • Schedule appointments and demos between prospects and Account Executives
  • Accurately record prospect information and interactions in CRM database
  • Conduct research on targeted accounts to personalize outreach
  • Collaborate with sales team to refine prospecting strategies
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and qualification targets

Required Qualifications

  • University degree or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to form strong business relationships

  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce
