Job Description

Security Data Engineer

Location: Bengaluru, India

Department: Security

Work Mode: Hybrid

About the Role

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate business processes and simplify lives through intelligent agreement management. As the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM), Docusign unleashes business-critical data trapped in documents, connecting it to systems of record to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and unlock opportunities. Join our innovative culture where trust, equality, and bold ideas power groundbreaking security solutions for our global platform. As a Security Data Engineer in the Security department, you will design, build, and maintain our enterprise security data platform—from ingestion and pipelines to visualization and monitoring—ensuring seamless integration into stakeholder processes for timely threat interventions. This individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of Platform Security, empowers you to define data contracts, quality SLAs, automate lineage/privacy controls, support surge analytics during major incidents, and relentlessly optimize reliability, performance, and cost. You will architect unified models for assets, identities, findings, and events, while leading domains like posture marts, mentoring juniors, and fostering a culture of data excellence in our fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. What sets this role apart is its impact on Docusign's security posture amid our explosive growth in e-signature and CLM adoption. You'll partner with AppSec, SOC/Risk, PSIRT, and Platform teams to deliver curated marts for posture, exposure, incidents, and SDLC analytics, resolving disputes with source-of-truth logic and enabling self-serve dashboards. Operate warehouses and queues to strict SLOs, handle backups/DR, capacity planning, and vendor escalations with audit-ready logs—all while embedding security into our intelligent agreement management platform. This is a hybrid role requiring minimum 2 days per week in-office (frequency may vary by team). Docusign is committed to equal opportunity, trust, and making the world more agreeable. If you thrive in a collaborative, high-impact setting and want to safeguard the agreements that power global business, apply today. #LI-Hybrid #LI-VP3
