We're seeking a highly motivated Sr. Software Frontend Engineer for our Product-Led Growth commerce experiences team. In a tight-knit pod of 4-6 engineers, you'll develop, test, and experiment on ecom.docusign.com and adjacent platforms, owning end-to-end customer experiences across vast product and engineering collaborations. This individual contributor role reports to the Engineering Manager, Commerce Experiences, offering unique learning in scalable, user-centric applications that power DocuSign's global e-signature ecosystem. Design intuitive React/Node.js experiences, scale component libraries for UI consistency, and ensure reliability through rigorous testing and Agile practices. Collaborate with designers, PMs, and backend teams to ship scalable consumer apps, mentor peers, and influence executive decisions on architecture. Proactively tackle performance issues and stay ahead of trends to elevate our Intelligent Agreement Management platform. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, user-focused experiences using React and Node.js for DocuSign's commerce platforms like ecom.docusign.com
• Build, maintain, and scale a robust component library to ensure UI consistency, reusability, and alignment with intelligent agreement management workflows
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and DocuSign's e-signature innovation standards
• Develop and maintain comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to guarantee reliability in high-traffic consumer applications
• Collaborate in an Agile pod of 4-6 engineers, leveraging CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and rigorous code reviews
• Partner cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and backend teams to deliver seamless e-signature and commerce experiences
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation in frontend development
• Present software architectures and technical strategies to executives, influencing decisions on product-led growth initiatives
• Work in cross-site teams to drive design, implementation, testing, and release of scalable DocuSign products
• Proactively identify and resolve technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues in real-time
• Stay ahead of emerging frontend technologies and trends to enhance DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with specialization in the React/Node.js ecosystem and user-facing applications
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ES6+ features
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, jQuery, and cutting-edge frontend technologies
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful web services
• Demonstrated track record of developing and shipping highly scalable, consumer-facing web applications
• Experience thriving in Agile environments with Git for version control, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for frontend performance optimization, exceptional user experience, and maintainable architectures
• Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL API integration
• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
• Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architectures
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility (a11y), internationalization (i18n), telemetry, and experimentation frameworks
• Proficiency in growth experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven UI optimization strategies
