In this individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you'll own the design and execution of medium-complexity features, blending deep data expertise with robust back-end development using C# and .Net Core. Day-to-day, expect to build fault-tolerant systems at scale, develop high-quality code with comprehensive test coverage, and collaborate across global teams in our agile, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and execution of medium complexity features on the reporting team
• Develop testable, high-quality, ship-ready code with ample test coverage
• Build fault-tolerant systems that solve problems at scale for DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform
• Collaborate with cross-site development teams to drive implementation, testing, and deployment
• Apply critical thinking to quickly understand and improve existing systems
• Leverage data expertise to enhance e-signature and agreement management reporting capabilities
• Take smart, educated risks in a fast-paced agile environment
• Contribute to highly available services supporting over 1.5 million customers worldwide
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle using git and modern CI/CD practices
• Champion innovation in back-end development for scalable, reliable e-signature solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of professional experience building single-page applications
• Experience working with C# and .Net Core
• Experience with SQL Databases
• Experience developing in large scale distributed systems
• Strong understanding of data systems and back-end code development
• Ability to design and execute medium complexity features in agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with NoSQL Databases (e.g., Cassandra, CosmosDB)
• Experience shipping highly available, scalable services on Azure
• Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including git, build processes, testing, and code release
• Experience in dynamic, fast-moving environments with Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
