We're seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer for our Product Led Growth team within the Growth vertical. In this individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, you'll execute the full software development lifecycle—design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance—for our e-commerce application that powers seamless agreement experiences. Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment solving complex challenges with cutting-edge technologies, collaborating on brainstorming sessions, and driving team success through process improvements and engineering best practices. Write high-quality C# code that's easy to maintain and test, build automated test suites, and participate in Agile Scrum with CI/CD, code reviews, and Git. Proactively identify risks to delivery, diagnose production issues, and integrate with internal DocuSign services and external APIs to scale consumer-facing features. Key Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code primarily in C# for our e-commerce application powering DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform
• Execute all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Participate in an Agile Scrum environment with CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Git version control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, design, and implement innovative solutions for e-signature and agreement management
• Proactively raise issues that might impact delivery commitments and suggest process improvements
• Diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues to ensure high availability of commerce services
• Mentor team members and model engineering best practices in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Integrate with internal DocuSign services and external APIs to enhance product-led growth features
• Contribute to building scalable APIs that support over 1.5 million customers worldwide
• Optimize code for performance in high-traffic, consumer-facing e-commerce scenarios

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience
• Strong object-oriented design and programming skills
• 1+ years of professional experience building scalable and testable APIs in C#/.NET or Java
• Hands-on professional experience integrating with both internal and external APIs
• Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing APIs
• Product development experience building large-scale web applications
• Care deeply about writing high-performance, reusable code for components used across products
• Availability to diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues
