We are seeking a Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst to support sales administrators across regions within our high-performing Business/Sales Operations & Strategy team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales Compensation, this people manager role drives the day-to-day sales compensation processes, including owning support for your assigned region by resolving sales inquiries, auditing crediting and commission calculations, and delivering ad hoc reporting. You will manage participant setups, prepare monthly commissions accruals, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Ops, Sales Finance, HR, Legal, Accounting, and Revenue Operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our fast-paced tech environment. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player who thrives on scaling processes and automating workflows using tools like Xactly Incent. You will partner on sales plan designs, conduct UAT for new programs, train the sales organization, and contribute to SOX compliance and systems integrations that power Docusign's growth. With strong interpersonal skills and a passion for monthly/quarterly close excellence, you will build trust across teams and innovate to support our sales engine in delivering intelligent agreement solutions worldwide. This hybrid role requires minimum 2 days per week in-office, with pay ranging from $101,500 - $156,750 base in California (varies by location and experience), plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Sales Compensation Administration, including monthly review of sales participant setups, audits of crediting and commissions, and ServiceNow case queue management
  • Oversee monthly setup processes in Xactly Incent, including Users, People, Positions, Hierarchies, Named Relationships, Quotas, and Rates
  • Coordinate with Systems teams to handle manual processes, corrections, and exceptions on monthly/quarterly basis
  • Apply sales policies to execute change requests and exceptions, identifying process and policy gaps
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly commissions accruals for Accounting team and resolve queries
  • Partner with Sales Plan Design to administer new sales plan changes and SPIFF programs
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing for fiscal year changes, new programs, rule modifications, and assess accounting impacts
  • Train Sales Organization on Xactly, sales plans, and new compensation programs
  • Maintain monthly reporting, ad hoc analysis, and support projects for sales enablement, SOX compliance, and systems integration
  • Build cross-functional relationships with Sales Ops, Finance, HR, Legal, Accounting, and Revenue Operations
  • Collaborate with Systems team to automate processes and maintain SOX-compliant business processes and internal controls

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation with sound knowledge of incentive systems
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a proven track record of driving efficiencies
  • Excellent organization, documentation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience managing end-to-end sales compensation processes including audits and accruals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales compensation within a professional, fast-paced tech environment
  • ASC 606 accounting background
  • Hands-on experience with Xactly Incent or other sales performance management software
  • Prior people management experience
