A Day in the Life of a Weekend Shift Loader/Unloader

Your typical weekend shift will be action-packed. You will begin by receiving instructions from your supervisor regarding the day's priorities. Expect to be moving! First, you'll load and unload merchandise from incoming and outgoing trailers, utilizing forklifts and conveyor systems. Accuracy is critical as you verify and audit merchandise, comparing it to order documentation and flagging any discrepancies or damages. Next, you will enter data into remote terminals to track inventory and update merchandise status. Much of your day consists of separating, labeling, and palletizing items for movement within the distribution center. Expect to operate forklifts safely to move pallets to their appropriate locations. A good portion of your time will be replenishing pick areas, ensuring orders can be fulfilled. Picking and consolidating is key, and you'll be tasked with selecting merchandise and moving it to the conveyor or into boxes in preparation for orders. Loading trailers efficiently and correctly is your final task - ensuring the goods are ready to ship. Between these tasks you'll maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Compensation & Benefits
