Manager, Compliance Assurance at DoorDash

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line-of-defense oversight to establish enterprise-wide compliance assurance frameworks and monitoring programs relating to Dasher pay models, pay transparency, deactivations, training, and a host of product related compliance initiatives.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into effective controls and perform testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and audits to evaluate adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, Product, Operations, and other teams to embed compliance requirements into policies and processes.
  • Develop and oversee data collection and validation for compliance reviews and regulatory reporting, driving efficiencies through automation where possible.
  • Provide detailed reporting and insights that inform leadership and strengthen compliance posture.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of executing compliance programs in a fast-paced environment, preferably in technology or finance sectors.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting audits, testing controls, and reporting findings.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to align on compliance standards and reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with automated solutions for compliance operations.

Job Summary

DoorDash is hiring an experienced compliance auditor to help us build a new compliance second-line-of-defense function that will redefine how compliance assurance is done. This high-visibility role will focus on translating regulatory requirements into actionable controls and leveraging automation to prove that they work in practice.
