Key Responsibilities

  • Lead: Recruit, lead, coach & retain a high-performing team of Shift Leads (3+) and Operations Associates (6+). Set team up for success to work safely and productively. Build strong, positive culture and drive employee satisfaction scores. Partner with Shift Leads to delegate tasks and ensure high performance.
  • Own: Day-to-day operations of DashMart warehouse, including light-prep kitchen in some locations. Ensure processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. Manage scheduling and labor budget. Ensure warehouse meets site-level metric goals.
  • Delight customers: Lead team in providing best possible experience on each order. Maintain key quality metrics including order accuracy and fulfillment speed. Work cross-functionally with central teams for tools and resources.
  • Strategize: Use data to identify pain-points or inefficiencies. Design, build and execute process improvement projects to improve operations, quality metrics, and employee experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ of team leadership experience in high volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfilment, logistics or operations) with a track record of developing people and delivering results.
  • Managed high-performance teams of 10+ employees
  • Act like an owner: support a 24/7 business across multiple shifts
  • Solve problems from first principles
  • Unafraid of ambiguity: thrive in ambiguous, startup environments
  • Analytical: data-first problem solver with experience using Excel or Google Sheets to analyze data, including basic formulas and creating pivot tables
  • College degree, or relevant professional work experience
  • Flexibility in schedule: some late-night and weekend availability
