Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary business lead for the Life/400 discovery programme, capturing and validating business requirements.

  • Develop and document business processes, target capabilities, and information models to support transformation objectives.

  • Collaborate with programme managers, technical leads, and solution architects to ensure requirements are fully addressed.

  • Shape business cases and roadmaps for system modernisation and migration initiatives.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Life & Pensions products (traditional and unit-linked) and Life/400 / Integral Life Classic systems.

  • Lead workshops with client stakeholders to define and validate requirements, processes, and designs.

  • Ensure traceability of requirements through to delivery, acting as a key link between business and IT teams.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and business improvement across insurance operations.

  • Contribute to programme governance, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.

  • Mentor junior analysts or backfill resources to ensure continuity of knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Life & Pensions insurance products and policy administration processes.

  • Proven experience as a Business Lead, Senior Business Analyst, or Business Architect in transformation or migration programmes.

  • Hands-on experience with Life/400, Integral Life Classic, or similar Life & Pensions platforms.

  • Ability to model and map business processes and define target business capabilities.

  • Experience shaping and supporting transformation programmes within the insurance industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a focus on delivering business value.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead workshops and liaise with senior stakeholders.

  • Experience working with Irish insurance customers and familiarity with the local market.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of migration tools such as Policy Data Loader (PDL) and Product Data Loader (PDG).

  • Certifications in business architecture or frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK).

  • Exposure to agile delivery environments (SAFe, Scrum, Hybrid).

  • Familiarity with integration, digitalisation, and data modernisation in Life & Pensions.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Competitive Compensation & Pension Scheme – Rewarding your expertise while securing your future.

  • Comprehensive Benefits Package – Including DXC Select, Perks at Work, and incentive programs for exclusive savings and rewards.

  • Continuous Learning & Development – Access to upskilling opportunities, career growth resources, and industry-leading training.

  • Lifestyle Perks – Enjoy options like the Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme and more.

Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
