Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions for enterprise and retail IT environments.

• Lead cloud migration strategies, including planning and execution of workload transitions to GCP.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.

• Integrate third-party services such as Active Directory, ServiceNow, Backup, Antivirus and FinOps tools with GCP.

• Troubleshoot and resolve GCP infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage GKE-based container orchestration.

• Ensure security, compliance and governance across GCP environments.

• Stay updated with GCP service enhancements and industry best practices.

• Support Windows and Linux OS installation and troubleshooting.

• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in IT, with 3 years of  working experience on GCP projects.

• Proven expertise in GCP native SaaS and PaaS services.

• Hands-on experience with cloud migration, infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.

• Proficiency in Terraform, Deployment Manager and CI/CD tools.

• Strong understanding of IAM, VPC, and GCP security frameworks.

• Good understanding of GCP database services such as Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Firestore and Cloud Spanner.

• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.     

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is required.

• Preferred to have certification on Azure, AWS & OCI.

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus

• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Cloud Practitioner, are a plus.
