 Required Skills

The Networking Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high‑performance network environments. This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of enterprise network infrastructure, supporting ongoing operations, and contributing to the evolution of network standards and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD‑WAN.
Implement and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, segmentation, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
Troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimized performance.
Monitor network environments and proactively address capacity, performance, and security risks.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support infrastructure projects and business initiatives.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, standards, and procedures.
Perform lifecycle management of networking hardware and software.
Support network upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives (on‑premises and hybrid/cloud environments).


Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and VLAN segmentation.
Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid architectures.
Hands‑on experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
Knowledge of automation and scripting for network operations (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in enterprise network engineering roles.


Preferred Skills

Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent.
Experience leading network‑related projects.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
