Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong background in software engineering and Agile methodologies to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and a proven track record of managing complex technical projects from initiation through delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management of software development initiatives, from planning through deployment and maintenance.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and design teams to define scope, set goals, and deliver quality outcomes.

• Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and timelines using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Act as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach when needed; facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure clear communication of priorities, project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

• Coordinate and manage dependencies across teams and departments.

• Monitor engineering metrics (velocity, burndown charts, lead time) to drive continuous improvement.

• Support product owners with backlog grooming and ensure stories are ready for development.

• Champion Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and ownership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Experience in project management within a software engineering environment.

• Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).

• Strong knowledge of software development processes and tools (CI/CD, Git, cloud platforms).

• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
