Location: Hybrid – Washington, DC.  Candidates within 25 miles of a DXC office are required to work on-site 2 days per week.

Overview: The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader supporting Agile teams by ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, resolving impediments, facilitating ceremonies, and enabling continuous improvement. This role ensures compliance with DOD expectations and secure delivery standards. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Shield the team from external interruptions and unplanned work.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments affecting delivery.
  • Promote collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Support cross-team coordination and dependency planning.
  • Ensure team adherence to Scrum values and Agile best practices.
  • Provide team metrics and status reporting.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and servant leadership.
  • Support alignment with DOD secure development and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 3+ years Scrum Master or Agile team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks.
  • Experience facilitating ceremonies and resolving team impediments.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting DOD or federal programs.
  • Experience in scaled Agile environments (SAFe).

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $76,700 - $142,500.
