About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consulting Leader/Manager with strong expertise in financial services, payments, and fintech innovation. The ideal candidate should be able to help clients explore new business models enabled by modern technologies such as AI, cloud platforms, and emerging fields like quantum computing as well as understand the applicable regulatory environment and has relevant experience implementing technology for financial institutions or fintechs. Senior Consulting Leader/Manager will be responsible for the growth and development of the team of consultants dedicated to the financial services industry and large enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities:
Consulting & Advisory
Advise clients on the strategic development of their financial services portfolio, payments business models or solutions and strategy
Support clients in understanding and applying regulations relevant to their business agenda.
Help develop new technology-enabled business models (e.g., AI-driven services, digital ecosystems, embedded finance).
Define operating models and transformation roadmaps helping clients to deliver their strategic transformation journeys
Technology & Implementation
Lead or support implementation of technology solutions across payments and digital financial services.
Provide guidance on modern technologies (e.g., AI, cloud, advanced analytics, quantum implications).
Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to deliver complex transformation initiatives.
Innovation & New Business Models
Identify opportunities for digital-native financial services and payments innovation.
Support clients in developing platform, data-driven, and ecosystem-focused business propositions.
Translate emerging technology capabilities into viable commercial strategies.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and drive high-quality business outcomes.
Engage with senior stakeholders, lead workshops, and communicate insights effectively.
Ensure governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment throughout project/sales process lifecycles.
Thought Leadership
Track industry trends in payments, fintech, AI, and digital finance.
Produce insights to support internal knowledge development and client engagement.
Contribute to white papers, points of view, and innovation sessions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
5–10+ years of experience in financial services, payments, or fintech.
Strong understanding of payments value chains and relevant regulations.
Experience in technology transformation or implementation projects.
Awareness of modern technology trends (AI, cloud, advanced analytics, emerging tech).
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in new digital business models and strategic transformations (e.g., embedded finance, open banking) and relevant implementations
7+ years of consulting experience in a top-tier or specialized firm.
Understanding of data, AI, or cloud architectures and emerging technologies
Experience working with major payment industry players or regulatory stakeholders.
