Key Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills / Knowledge

1. Python Development

• Strong hands-on coding experience (scripts, automation, data processing).
• Knowledge / Experience with pandas, openpyxl, MySQL connectors, APIs, XML/JSON handling.
• Ability to build reusable automation workflows.
• Knowledge of Python scheduling, logging, error handling.

2. Laravel PHP

• Experience developing REST APIs and backend modules.
• Knowledge of Blade templates, controllers, middleware, authentication.
• Experience integrating external APIs and SAP RFC backend calls (SOAP/XML preferred).

3. SQL / Database (MariaDB / MySQL)

• Strong SQL querying, optimization, stored procedures, indexing.
• Experience with database design and schema changes.
• Ability to work with large datasets (GBRT, Horizon, O2C data loads).

4. AI / Data Basics

• Understanding of basic AI/ML concepts (LLMs, classification, NLP).
• Ability to integrate AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure, etc.).
• Basic text processing for contract reading or anomaly detection.

5. Version Control

• Git / GitHub or GitLab experience.

6. Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT or related field.
• Finance Knowledge is preferred

7. Experience

1 to 3 years in IT/ Finance (Finance domain knowledge is an advantage).
