Based primarily in Slough, GBR (SL14DX), with remote flexibility in UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Finland, or Sweden, this position focuses on supporting Data Center clients across EMEA, driving strategic growth for the Power Distribution Division. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide critical technical expertise to Country Services Units (CSUs) during commissioning of large-scale Data Center projects. Not a people manager, you will collaborate closely with field service teams, country sales, manufacturing hubs in Hengelo/Netherlands and Ankara/Turkey, Project Management Office, and customers. Key duties include standardizing SOPs for testing/commissioning, overseeing escalations, leading training for Senior Commissioning Engineers, and developing Train The Trainer programs aligned with Eaton's commitment to safety, efficiency, and ethical practices. With up to 30% regional travel, you will ensure seamless execution of Eaton's power distribution solutions. Leverage your 5+ years of senior field services experience in LV/MV equipment to act as the focal point for technical exchanges, attend Factory Acceptance Tests, and integrate EHS standards like Electrical Safety and LOTO into training. Promote best practices through the Field Service Engagement Program, continuously enhancing competencies to meet the demands of sustainable power management for Data Centers. Key Responsibilities

  • Standardize design and produce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing and commissioning of Power Distribution equipment
  • Build and maintain Sales Operations SOP library, ensuring Field Service Engineers have access to latest versions
  • Maintain direct technical links with Eaton hubs in Hengelo, Netherlands and Ankara, Turkey as focal point for exchanges with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Support
  • Collaborate with EMEA Project Management Office on commissioning considerations, attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and produce field execution documents
  • Oversee technical escalations, provide support to engineers and customers, drive resolutions, and complete technical reports
  • Act as single point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for technical support during commissioning phases of EMEA projects, with focus on Data Centers
  • Lead onboarding and training programs for Senior Field Service Engineers on large projects, including certification in alignment with EMEA Technical & Training Lead
  • Develop and deliver Train The Trainer schemes to ensure field services competency across project locations
  • Collaborate with EMEA Technical & Training Department on training center improvements and integrate EHS subjects like Electrical Safety and LOTO
  • Participate in Field Service Engagement Program to promote best practices and build regional Field Service Community
  • Attend Eaton product training courses and technical sessions to enhance support for the Services Business Unit

Required Qualifications

  • Electrical Technical School qualification and proven industry experience
  • 5+ years in a senior field services role for Power Distribution equipment (LV/MV)
  • Deep technical knowledge of Eaton’s Power Distribution product portfolio
  • Advanced knowledge of commissioning activities and scripts for large-scale projects
  • Fluency in English language
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA region up to 30% of working time
  • Knowledge of field service offerings including installation and commissioning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Data Center commissioning projects
  • Hands-on experience with Eaton manufacturing hubs in Hengelo, Netherlands and Ankara, Turkey
