Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct and demonstrate expertise in commissioning and maintenance of electrical power distribution products including power circuit breakers, motor control centers, unit substations, power transformers, and protective relays
  • Support and coordinate training events including set-up, scheduling, travel, equipment, and materials in collaboration with training coordinators
  • Create, maintain, and update curricula, lesson plans, and classroom reference materials
  • Conduct student evaluations, course evaluations, cost tracking, and drive continuous improvement in training programs
  • Apply knowledge of safe electrical work practices as per NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop customer training programs and opportunities
  • Develop, deliver, and facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical, safety, and power systems trainings
  • Champion new delivery methods and implement changes in product, technical, or field programs through instruction
  • Build rapport with diverse audiences across organizational levels to promote Eaton's power management solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, or technical certification from an accredited trade school, or military experience AND at least 5 years of experience evaluating, testing, installing or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree/certification
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Ability to lift, move and set up demonstration equipment up to 40 pounds and handle wheeled equipment exceeding 40 pounds
  • No employment immigration sponsorship available (excludes CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H1B, etc.)
  • Knowledge of safe electrical work practices per NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platforms, learning management systems, and electrical system software
