In this pivotal role reporting to the Product Line Director, you will own the strategy ('why') and roadmap for our IEC Assembly portfolio, including Primary & Secondary Switchgears, Ring Main Units, and Transformers. As the 'CEO' of your product family, you will drive portfolio innovation, market alignment, and commercial performance by collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, NPD, sales, and operations. Define features, requirements, and timelines to deliver customer-centric solutions that maximize revenue, margins, and sustainability impact across global markets. Key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities in high-demand segments, managing product lifecycle from development to aftermarket transition, and optimizing end-to-end profitability through data-driven insights. You will champion Eaton’s sustainability ethos by promoting SF6-free technologies, efficiency programs, and ecosystem partnerships, while supporting partner onboarding and go-to-market strategies. Leverage market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to build scalable solutions for data centers and beyond. This role demands a strategic thinker passionate about power distribution innovation. Work with MARCOM to amplify visibility through segment-specific campaigns, drive new product introductions, and ensure alignment with Eaton’s values of reliability, safety, and environmental stewardship. Key Responsibilities

  • Set product vision and strategy for MV Switchgear portfolio, articulating business value to NPD teams
  • Drive growth across Data Centre, Utilities, Industrial, and C&I segments through new opportunities
  • Measure, manage, and optimize product performance focusing on end-to-end profitability
  • Identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform product roadmaps
  • Define and execute product roadmaps, including new developments, upgrades, and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align portfolio with segment needs and develop market communications
  • Support partner engagement, onboarding, training, and performance tracking
  • Promote sustainable ecosystem development with sourcing, logistics, and operations
  • Work with MARCOM to create segment-specific materials and success stories
  • Implement and coordinate new product development initiatives
  • Drive efficiency programs and cost-out strategies aligned with Eaton’s sustainability goals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in a B2B environment
  • Minimum 3 years in Product Management or similar role
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • In-depth knowledge of MV Switchgear applications in distribution networks
  • Familiarity with IEC/EU standards and ability to read electrical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Center, Utility, and Industrial markets
  • Sales engineering experience with major projects and value-based selling
  • Strong project lifecycle understanding and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of SF6-free switchgear and modular power systems
  • Experience driving efficiency and cost-out programs in power distribution
