Key Responsibilities

  • Perform intensive customer service for UPS systems, including installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and retrofits at customer sites in the Karlsruhe region and occasionally D-A-CH
  • Conduct telephone troubleshooting to diagnose issues and determine system status
  • Secure and maintain existing customer relationships through proactive service
  • Analyze faults, eliminate disruptions, and repair electronic components
  • Handle customer complaints and execute quality actions per service contracts
  • Maintain Eaton UPS systems according to factory specifications
  • Organize spare parts and independently plan deployments in assigned territory
  • Document all activities meticulously and conduct on-site customer training
  • Drive directly from home to customer locations, ensuring high availability of critical power systems

Required Qualifications

  • Completed electrical engineering vocational training with professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Specialized knowledge in low-voltage networks up to 400 VAC
  • Practical experience with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) products and service operations
  • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within the D-A-CH region
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work from home with direct customer site visits
