Key Responsibilities

  • Perform intensive customer service for UPS systems, including on-site visits directly from home office
  • Secure and maintain existing customer relationships in NRW Nord region
  • Conduct telephone troubleshooting to diagnose issues and determine system status
  • Execute installation and commissioning of UPS systems at customer sites
  • Perform fault analysis, error diagnosis, and resolution on UPS equipment
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on electronic components per manufacturer guidelines
  • Handle customer complaints and quality actions efficiently
  • Maintain Eaton UPS systems according to factory specifications
  • Manage spare parts logistics and independently plan field deployments
  • Document all activities meticulously for compliance and reporting
  • Deliver on-site customer training on UPS operations and functionality

Required Qualifications

  • Completed electrical engineering vocational training or equivalent
  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, particularly with low-voltage networks up to 400 VAC
  • Service experience in field service or maintenance roles
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75% within NRW Nord region and occasionally beyond
  • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with PC and standard office software (e.g., MS Office)
  • Ability to work independently from a home office base in Bonn area
