You'll handle installation, commissioning, repairs, maintenance, and retrofits under service contracts, customer orders, and quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site service for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) at customer locations
  • Conduct installation, commissioning, and maintenance of UPS systems
  • Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting to resolve disruptions
  • Execute repairs and retrofits under service contracts and customer orders
  • Conduct customer training and instructions on-site
  • Document all activities accurately in Eaton's IT systems
  • Participate in quality actions and preventive maintenance programs
  • Drive directly from home to customer sites in the Koblenz region and surrounding areas
  • Collaborate with team members for complex service projects
  • Ensure compliance with Eaton's safety and quality standards during all fieldwork

Required Qualifications

  • Successfully completed electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training
  • First professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Valid driver's license class B
  • Physical fitness for working under voltage/energized conditions
  • Willingness for regional and European travel (focus on Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Ability to work independently with personal responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), low-voltage switchgear, or power distribution
  • Technician advanced training or equivalent
  • Service experience with customer-facing roles
  • Good knowledge of English in spoken and written form
