About the Role

eBay, the global ecommerce leader empowering millions of buyers and sellers across 190+ markets, seeks a Group Product Manager, Risk & Compliance to spearhead next-generation payments strategies in Bengaluru, India. This senior role focuses on safeguarding marketplace integrity through innovative risk, tax, and compliance solutions amid evolving global trends. You will build and lead a team of PMs, owning the product strategy, roadmap, and execution to ensure secure, scalable transactions that drive economic opportunity worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product and CX strategy, develop requirements and drive roadmap execution for risk and compliance capabilities
• Build and manage a team of PMs to establish an area of excellence for Risk, Tax and Compliance products at eBay
• Lead projects during execution by partnering with relevant stakeholders across eBay's global marketplace
• Prioritize the backlog by soliciting and curating ideas from partners organization-wide
• Drive planning, story prioritization, product backlog grooming with scrum teams
• Identify risks and mitigation plans with development and quality engineering leads, including roll-back and business contingencies
• Partner with Product Analytics to collect data insights and measure improvements to Risk products
• Serve as product champion providing end-to-end view of customer experiences on Risk products and architecture
• Communicate product value to product/business community and executives
• Monitor industry trends and technology improvements to propose substantial enhancements for eBay's risk platform

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of Product Management experience with expertise in Payments or transaction Risk in a marketplace or e-commerce context
• Proven track record of launching product solutions at scale and globally
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
• Experience with product development lifecycle, process flows and working in an agile environment
• Master's degree
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment using a data-driven and analytical approach
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with proven track record to influence senior management

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Experience building and managing teams of Product Managers
• Deep knowledge of global Risk, Tax, and Compliance trends in e-commerce marketplaces
• Background in payments risk management for high-volume transaction platforms
• Proven success in navigating regulatory challenges in international markets
