  • Build solutions using strong background in distributed systems and large-scale database systems for eBay's risk products

  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and project-related team meetings
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, and Operations teams to create innovative risk solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
  • 2-4+ years of proven experience as a software engineer
  • Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, XML, Web technologies, Web Services, Design Patterns, and OOAD
  • Solid foundation in computer science with strong proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Proficient in implementing OOAD, architectural and design patterns, diverse platforms, frameworks, technologies, and software engineering methodologies
  • Experience in Oracle/NoSQL DBs, REST, Event Source, Web Socket
  • Proficient in agile development methodologies
