Key Responsibilities

• Build close partnerships with business teams to identify high-impact AI and automation opportunities in eBay's tax domain
• Innovate and design solutions that transform tax processes and enhance decision-making in e-commerce operations
• Manage end-to-end development and deployment of ML models, AI algorithms, and automation using Python and relevant technologies
• Analyze large, diverse datasets with SQL, Python, and ML to extract insights for tax-related challenges
• Build scalable automation frameworks to drive efficiency in eBay's global marketplace
• Continuously monitor, optimize, and scale AI/automation solutions aligned with business needs
• Develop data algorithms and self-serve automation tools to foster analytics culture across eBay
• Collaborate proactively with Customer Services, Legal, Product, and Finance teams for cross-functional visibility
• Leverage intellectual curiosity to solve ambiguous problems in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
• Deliver measurable business outcomes through AI-driven process automations

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience delivering advanced AI, machine learning, and automation solutions in complex business environments
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end AI/ML/automation solutions from problem scoping to production deployment
• Strong technical skills in data analysis and automation using SQL and Python
• Experience handling big data technologies like Hadoop and Teradata
• Agile development experience
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable software and automation solutions
• Experience working independently as an individual contributor in a global team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
