Key Responsibilities

As EHS Manager, your core duties include:

• Maintaining compliance with PepsiCo standards, local legislation, and certifications such as ISO14001 and OHSAS18001/ASNZS4801.
• Implementing ANZ strategic EHS plans, business continuity programs, and scenario-based testing to meet Global Security standards.
• Coordinating risk assessments, safe work practices, incident investigations via MyEHS, and corrective actions.
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and trend analysis to develop improvement plans.
• Leading the site EHS team, delivering training on gas safety and EHS programs, and integrating EHS into new equipment and processes.
• Monitoring regulatory changes, managing reporting for programs like APC, NGER, NPI, and liaising with local authorities for licenses and permits.

Collaboration and Innovation

You will partner with the ANZ EHS team to set goals that add organizational value and implement PepsiCo Recon for sustainability targets. Your leadership will ensure Forrestfield remains a benchmark for EHS excellence in the food and beverage sector.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Solid, demonstrable knowledge of Australian EHS regulatory requirements, including state-specific programs.
• Proven experience in maintaining ISO14001 and OHSAS18001/ASNZS4801 certifications.
• Strong leadership skills to develop EHS teams and drive cultural change.
• Proficiency in EHS management systems, risk assessment tools, and data reporting.

Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing, particularly in food and beverage, is highly advantageous. A passion for zero-harm cultures and sustainability is essential.
