Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of a broad spectrum of EHS activities designed to protect employees, the environment, and operations:

• Develop and maintain the local EHS policy, ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines, Dutch laws, and global PepsiCo directives.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments at all workstations and drive corrective and preventive actions to mitigate hazards.
• Establish and monitor factory routines, including forklift and pedestrian safety protocols, PPE enforcement, and secure operations.
• Proactively identify, report, and resolve EHS risks and incidents, maintaining meticulous documentation.
• Design and deliver EHS awareness training programs and onboarding sessions for new hires.
• Manage annual reporting to authorities, lead site-specific sustainability initiatives, and partner with global teams on projects like waste system optimizations.

Collaboration and Leadership

You will work closely with production teams, external partners like IDL, and PepsiCo's global EHS network, leveraging your assertive communication to build relationships and enforce standards effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as PepsiCo's EHS Supervisor in Tilburg, candidates should bring a blend of education, experience, and skills tailored to a high-paced logistics environment:

• HBO-level degree in safety, environmental science, logistics, or technical fields.
• Preferred MVK or HVK certification in safety management.
• Minimum 3 years in an international EHS role, ideally in logistics or production.
• Deep knowledge of relevant regulations, including ADR for hazardous goods and Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) audits.
• Proven expertise in EHS procedure development, compliance systems, and continuous improvement.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Dutch language skills are a strong plus.
