Join Williams as an Electrical Engineer (III, SR or Staff) in our Project Execution - Power Innovation team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Key Responsibilities

System Design and Optimization

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for critical infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new construction and upgrades.

Technology Integration and Innovation

• Champion integration of automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Apply knowledge of grid integration and renewable energy systems to future-proof operations.

Safety and Compliance

• Implement arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and other safety measures to protect personnel and infrastructure.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all projects.

Project Management and Collaboration

• Manage complex engineering projects from concept to completion, aligning with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee procurement, commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to foster growth and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, OR Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and 8+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industries.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in power system design tools like ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, or Simulink.
• Deep knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear.
• Experience managing procurement with industry vendor contacts.
• Preferred: Hands-on commissioning, testing, and startup experience.

Soft Skills

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as the top priority.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applications.
