As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at PepsiCo in Cairo, Egypt, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production facilities. This full-time position demands technical expertise in electrical systems, leadership acumen, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Reporting to engineering leadership, you will maintain critical equipment, optimize performance, and contribute to our sustainability goals in the dynamic food and beverage sector.
Your day-to-day duties will include maintaining equipment at peak efficiencies while applying rigorous maintenance procedures to safeguard people and assets. You will lead your team both administratively and technically, achieving and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance and issuing periodic reports. Monitor weekly consumptions of electricity, water, and gas, and control expenses meticulously. Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering teams on technical challenges, revise strategic spare parts annually, and ensure work orders align with spare parts usage. Review and approve purchase orders, participate in project planning, and implement systems like AIB, TPM, EMS, and ERP PEMM. Enhance equipment via updated preventive maintenance (PM) programs, manage team overtime and leaves, and upskill your team through training.
Lead in revising equipment asset registries, completing team structures per standards, and approving imported spare parts. Your role ensures spare parts availability by modifying item card limits.
To succeed, you need a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in control circuits, electronics, PLC, and networks is essential. Strong leadership, communication, presentation, time management, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work under pressure and solid computer proficiency. These qualifications position you to thrive in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
