Role Overview

The Electrical Technician - 3rd Shift position at Cardinal Health's Greenwood, SC manufacturing site is a critical role within our Process Control and Maintenance team. This full-time position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 12:00am to 8:00am, with mandatory overtime and weekend production as needed to meet company demands. • Providing technical leadership for capital project installations, equipment upgrades, startups, process troubleshooting, and ongoing production support.

• Working independently on complex problems, recommending new processes, and guiding less experienced team members.
• Adhering to quality guidelines, maintaining certifications, and ensuring operations meet established parameters.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate senior-level expertise:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance or manufacturing preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree in electrical/electronics or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operations, including hardware (CPU, monitors, board-level) and software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley systems: Control Logix, Panel View Plus HMI, Micrologix, PLC-5, RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, Factory Talk, CCW, Drive Executive, and Visual Motion.

This position requires minimal supervision, independent decision-making within guidelines, and the ability to train others. Relevant licenses, training, and certifications must be maintained.
