The Electro-Mechanical Technician - Rotating Shifts position at PepsiCo's Johnstown, PA plant is ideal for skilled professionals passionate about maintaining cutting-edge production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to maintenance leadership, you'll handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and upgrades on sophisticated machinery used in high-speed bottling and packaging lines. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, your impact will be immediate and essential. Primary accountabilities include:
Expect frequent physical activity: lifting, climbing, crouching, and standing in environments with heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.
To succeed, candidates must meet these basic qualifications:
Helpful experience includes mechanical systems (gearboxes, bearings), compressors/ammonia refrigeration, conveyors, electronics (probes, flow meters), hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, SERVO motors, PLCs, and high-speed packaging. Team-based environment experience is a plus.
This role requires continuous work near hazards and physical exertion. Rotating shifts ensure production never stops.
