As Electromechanical Technician I at PepsiCo's coconut water manufacturing unit in Petrolina, Pernambuco, you will ensure safe, continuous, and efficient operation of electromechanical systems in aseptic processing and filling lines. Collaborate with production, quality, and utilities teams to meet EHS standards, food safety regulations, and performance goals. Key deliverables include 95%+ equipment reliability, adherence to maintenance schedules, zero accidents, and support for reducing unplanned downtime and efficiency losses.
You'll execute hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to productivity projects, playing a vital role in our high-volume aseptic production environment.
Deliver critical maintenance for industrial equipment including pumps, valves, centrifuges, heat exchangers, and aseptic fillers. Conduct routine inspections, log data in SAP/Maximo, and propose corrective actions. Support preventive and predictive maintenance plans, electrical component replacements, and interpretation of electrical/pneumatic diagrams. Assist production during planned stops, startups, and line adjustments. Ensure compliance with safety norms, BPF, FSSC 22000, AIB, ISO 45001, and 14001. Perform fault diagnosis, join loss analysis meetings (MOTOR+, TPM, RCA), maintain 5S standards, and aid automation projects.
We seek candidates with a technical degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Prior experience in food/beverage industries, especially aseptic UHT or sterile filling, is preferred. Proficiency in PLCs, electrical panels, instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics is essential. Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and autonomous maintenance tools is a plus.
