Role Overview

As an Engineer II - Front End (Remote, Canada), you'll join a dynamic team building the next-generation data visualization framework for our cutting-edge cybersecurity console. This role offers an exciting chance to craft engaging, data-driven experiences that enable users to visualize patterns and navigate threats effectively. Collaborating closely with product design and UI engineering teams, you'll work with massive datasets and advanced chart visualizations in a fully remote capacity across Canada. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll drive impactful contributions to our front-end ecosystem:

• Execute technical strategy for front-end data visualization architecture, prioritizing flexibility, scalability, security, and performance.
• Design, build, and maintain single-page application (SPA) frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews for your work and peers, ensuring high standards.
• Leverage expertise to guide decisions in engineering, product design, and direction.
• Build tools to enhance team development experience and maintain code quality via unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including UX designers, QA engineers, Product Managers, Data/API engineers.
• Stay ahead of cybersecurity challenges and front-end engineering evolutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive, you'll bring:

• Working knowledge of web standards and tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, TypeScript, Ember CLI, Node/NPM, Webpack, Responsive UI.
• Experience with data visualization libraries like amCharts, HighCharts, D3.js.
• Building scalable UI design systems using atomic design principles.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS product delivery for data-intensive apps.
• Accessibility expertise (a11y): keyboard navigation, screen readers, WCAG.
• Internationalization (i18n) experience.
• Front-end frameworks (Lit, Ember, React, Angular); CSS like Tailwind; data mocking, fetching/state management; CI/CD practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; UX consistency advocate.
