The Engineer II/III - Pipeline Safety role at Williams Companies in Houston, Texas, is perfect for mid-to-senior level engineers passionate about regulatory compliance, pipeline integrity, and safety in the natural gas industry. This full-time position offers the chance to work independently on impactful projects, ensuring adherence to DOT PHMSA regulations (49 CFR Parts 192 & 195). Whether you're at the Engineer II level (2+ years experience) or Engineer III (4+ years), you'll support operations, engineering, and projects in a dynamic support area.
Day-to-day, expect to coordinate regulator inspections, review project designs, conduct audits, handle accident reporting, and research rule-making. This role demands technical innovation, judgement, and a safety-first mindset. With our core values guiding you, you'll grow professionally while contributing to safe, reliable energy delivery. Estimated salary range: $115,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience and level.
Other duties as assigned, covering multiple engineering specialties.
Candidates must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of safety requirements, ability to interpret customer needs, and proficiency in producing results.
